Strawberry Festival & Ice Cream Social Sunday, June 5, 2011 starting at noon
The annual Strawberry Ice Cream Festival is held each year on an early Sunday in June at noon in Fellowship Hall.
The Strawberry Festival is a long standing event. Some church members can remember picking strawberries in the 1970’s at a place northeast of Columbus. On Sunday they would be served with ice cream and cake.
This has evolved into our traditional picnic lunch with sloppy joes, baked beans, relish trays, lemonade and of course finished with strawberries, cake and ice cream. Sign up in the office to bring a cake. Come join us!
