NOTE: 5th Friday – January 31st
Join us in the Parlor on Friday, January 31st, at 7:00 p.m., for another fun evening of movie viewing and discussion as we gather for the movie, Yesterday.
Richard Curtis (Love, Actually) wrote, and Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) directed, this charming story of a struggling musician who wakes up after a worldwide blackout and realizes he’s the only person on Earth who can remember The Beatles. When he begins to play their music as his own, he becomes a global phenomenon, but is confronted with difficult decisions about who and what he wants to be. The film stars Himesh Patel (East Enders), Lily James (Downton Abbey), and Kate McKinnon (SNL).
We’ll gather to view the movie and then discuss the theological insights we uncovered while we watched. Snacks, drinks, and comfy chairs will be provided. As always, friends, dates and neighbors are welcome!
