Overbrook offers many opportunities for growth and learning, no matter your age! Our Christian Education program offers opportunities during our fellowship hours on Sundays, and on other occasions throughout the week. Please contact the church office if you questions or would more information about any of the programs.

Children & Youth

Sunday Education Hour: 10:00a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

  • Nursery: Infant – three year olds are invited to join us in our church nursery.
  • Preschool – Fifth Grade: We meet together in one room and combine our ages in mission work, music and engaging activities that are supported by Scripture lessons. Meets in Rm. 203. Focus: Neighbors Around the World
  • Middle School: Join us as team leaders for the younger grades.
  • High School: These students can attend an adult class or assist our children’s classes.

Adults

Fellowship Hour Groups (10:00-10:50 AM)
These groups gather around a wide variety of topics from coffee to current issues to the parables of Jesus, and are designed to give space for people to share, learn and deepen their relationships in the time between worship services.  The groups run for about 10 weeks and the offerings change during the Fall, Winter, and Spring. Bible Studies
Women of Overbrook Bible Study meets monthly for a Bible study (on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 9:30 AM), using the Horizons curriculum.

Friendship Class (special needs)
The Friendship Sunday School Class is open to men and women with special needs. In addition to regular Bible studies the class works on projects of giving including making cards for homebound members of the church, and gathering supplies for the homeless and victims of natural disasters. The class also enjoys socializing with one another.

Membership Class
This class meets quarterly for anyone interested in becoming a member of Overbrook. More details… 

Lenten Bible Study
We gather on Wednesday nights in Lent to enjoy a series of reflections, followed by discussion. More details…
