Children's Ministry
Children are always welcome at Overbrook
The church is their place too —a community where they are valued, loved, and called to serve.
Sunday Mornings
Worship
We love children and welcome them into worship at 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Wiggles, whispers, and wondering are all welcome at worship on Sundays!
Faith 55 Children’s Education
Faith 55 happens most Sunday mornings between services. Kids ages 5 years to 5th grade are invited to join us for hands-on active learning activities. Younger kids are welcome if a parent accompanies them.
Mission Sundays
The first Sundays of the month are “Mission Sundays,” where we engage in a variety of intergenerational mission activities around the church between services. Check our event calendar for dates and details.
Nursery
If you prefer to have a safe space for your children while you worship, our church nursery is available during our 11:00 am service for children up through 5 years. The nursery is staffed by 2 trained and background-checked sitters from Sitting Made Simple. We hope to see you this Sunday!
Monthly Fellowship Fun
Our Monthly Fellowship Gatherings are not your typical Sunday afternoon activities. They are fun-filled adventures where kids come together during the school year for mission projects, music, and building friendships. Each gathering is a unique experience. Recently, we’ve hosted an End of Summer Celebration, Art Extravaganza, Christmas Party, and other fun themed get-togethers. Join us for the next one and create some unforgettable memories! Check our event calendar for details.
Summer Mission Camp
Our Summer Mission Camp is a week-long adventure for kids who just completed 2nd grade through 5th grade. It’s a unique opportunity to serve our neighbors in the mornings and have a blast with community-building activities in the afternoons. This perfect balance between giving back and having fun makes our camp a must-attend event every summer. Watch the event calendar for dates and details.
Celebrating Milestones
We believe it’s important to celebrate God’s presence in our everyday lives. So, we provide families with resources to celebrate milestones like the birth of new babies, the beginning of the new school year, birthdays, and more.
Service Projects
Mission and social justice are part of our core values. We teach our children to live out our mission to share, love, care, and heal by encouraging them to actively and joyfully serve our neighbors, our community, and the world. Through hands-on activities and service projects, children learn the importance of compassion and making a positive impact. A calendar of service opportunities is available on our events calendar.
Events Calendar
In addition to our busy educational and fellowship schedule for children, Overbrook is a spiritual and physical center for the community. Our event calendar also includes community events and service projects, open to all.
