Per Capita is a fundamental way that all members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) connect, participate and share in the work of the wider church. Per capita is the primary source of funding for the Office of the General Assembly, the Synod, and the Presbytery. All Presbyterians are called to take part in the ecclesiastical and administrative work shared by the whole church through a once annual per capita giving. Overbrook Presbyterian Church pays the per capita for every member of Overbrook. If you are able to reimburse OPC for your share, it will help free monies for our local budget. Just indicate “Per Capita” on your check or envelope. The per capita in 2018 is $33 per member.
Automatic Direct Debit
Did you know that you can pay your monthly pledged contribution to Overbrook Presbyterian Church by means of automatic direct debit from your checking account? Many of us already use this system to pay our monthly utility bills. It is a secure method that reduces the number of checks written monthly. It is easy for you, and you can cancel or change the recurring amount at any time by notifying Overbrook Church. If you are interested and would like additional information, please contact the church Business Manager, John Wyckoff (614-261-1040 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
Pledges Can be Submitted Anytime of the Year!
Each fall, the Stewardship Ministry Team conducts a stewardship campaign to focus our thoughts on the year ahead as the church budget is prepared. However, did you know that pledges can be submitted anytime of the year? If you have not yet filled out a pledge card for the 2018 calendar year, but are interested in doing so, contact us via the church office (614-261-1040 or email@example.com). In addition to monetary pledges, we also welcome the pledge of your time and talents all year long as well. Check out bulletins and the Overbrook World newsletter for upcoming opportunities – and, if you have a talent to share which you’d like to let us know about, have a chat with a pastor or connect via the church office.
