“Fourth Sunday” Mission Event- July 28th

“Fourth Sunday” Mission Event

After a shortened worship service on Sunday, July 28th, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a number of service         projects. Come to church in comfortable casual clothes and help us do the work God calls us to do.

One of the projects will involve aid to asylum seekers traveling to their sponsor’s location after being released from detention centers by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). These are individuals and families that have completed the lawful entry into the asylum system and have been on the road for up to 40 hours with very few, if any, provisions. We will create bags to be distributed to travelers during their travel stop in Columbus. If you’d like to contribute to this effort, lists of needed materials are located in the Narthex.
