Scouting has been a part of Overbrook for a long time. Troop 474 celebrates its 50th anniversary with Overbrook in September, 2011.Troop 474 meets at Overbrook on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. throughout the school year and at Whetstone Park during the summer.The troop has many activities including monthly camp-outs (often at brook’s John Beltz Retreat Center) and an annual Pinewood Derby. The troop’s leadership encourages and supports each scout’s development and can proudly point to a large number of Eagle Scouts.
