FAQs During Covid-19

I miss being in the church. Can I come inside just to meditate or to pray?

Yes!  We have resumed indoor in-person worship on Sunday mornings.  The traditional service is in the Sanctuary is at 11:00 a.m. and the contemporary service is at 9:00 a.m. in the Parlor.  Services are limited to 45 minutes and we are still observing social distancing and mask wearing protocols.  We appreciate your continued patience as we navigate how to safely congregate with one another.

I miss seeing other church members. How can I connect with them?

There are many ways we are interacting, and we hope you’ll join us in all ways which are comfortable to you:

  • Online: weekly 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning coffee hour; members-only Facebook fellowship group; Youth Fellowship – schedule varies
  • In Person: Indoor in-person worship has resumed on Sunday mornings with masks and social distancing protocols still in place.  Service is limited to 45 minutes. Please join us for traditional worship in the Sanctuary at 11:00 a.m. or for the contemporary worship at 9:00 a.m. The coffee hour continues to be virtual as we are still limiting the length of time we are in close proximity to each other.
  • Other: We encourage you to find ways to “pass the peace” to others in the congregation by calling to say hello or by emailing or mailing them a short note. Contact the church office to request an updated directory.

We are continually adding ways to safely come together. Be sure to check the weekly email updates to see what’s new. If you are a member of our congregation but do not receive the email updates or the postal mailings, please contact the church office to be added to the list.

Someone has died, can we have a memorial service?

During the time in which we are limiting access to the building, we have continued to help families celebrate the life of loved ones who have passed away. A graveside or funeral home service can be arranged. If a death has occurred in your family, please contact a pastor to to see how they might be able to help by leaving a message on the Pastor on Call line (614-261-0905).

How do I receive pastoral care right now?

We know things can seem challenging on many levels. If you’d find it helpful to talk to a pastor, a deacon or a Stephen minister, please contact the church office to be put in touch with someone to help provide you with some emotional, social or spiritual support.

Can I borrow a Hymnal or a Bible?

We know some of you might like to borrow a hymnal or a Bible to keep at home for awhile – perhaps even for several months. If you’re one of those folks, please contact the church office (614-261-1040 or

How are offerings/donations collected at this time?

You can give online by clicking here:


You are also welcome to mail a check with your offerings/donations directly to the church (4131 North High Street; Columbus, OH  43214). We are picking up our mail from the post office several times a week. Additionally, you can contact John Wyckoff ( to set up auto payment from your bank account.
